This is a favorite client of mine! The MightyTV team signed on with VSC before they launched. Founders Brian and Alison Adams were still shaping their app and developing features when we started working together. As a result, I was able to see the company through every step of its positioning, branding, launch, and subsequent media frenzy. 

MightyTV is the Tinder of video content. With every swipe, the app uses machine learning to determine your taste in movies/TV and provides hyper-personalized lists of recommendations. Users can also compare their entertainment DNA with friends' to see what they would most enjoy watching together. MightyTV was acquired by Spotify in March 2017 for an undisclosed amount. As a result of the acquisition, the app is no longer available on iTunes. However, their discovery algorithms live on to give Spotify users incredible music recommendations.   

While working with mightyTV I drafted press assets including releases and media-briefing sheets, put together media lists + pitches, participated in media training, pitched stories to target reporters and bloggers, tracked coverage and helped brainstorm features. 

Goals: Create hype around MightyTV's launch, obtain coverage in target outlets.
